Departure June 12, 2022, JL WOOD will ship three Chardonnay wines. All wines are made from grapes grown on a single estate, the JL Wood Ranch in the famous Monterey central region California. All wines are fully fermented with no added sugar or malolactic fermentation. They were produced under the direction of Edouard Filice. Ed produces award-winning wines in the major wine districts of California for over 40 years.

New Chardonnay, Arroyo Seco 2021 is a modern version of Chardonnay. Fresh and innovative, the wine exhibits stunning tropical fruit and citrus flavors balanced by a refreshing freshness. The wine spent no time on oak and was bottled early to capture the fruit esters. Ideal with charcuterie, cheese, fruit and rich or spicy dishes.

First Chardonnay, Arroyo Seco 2021 is sophisticated, smooth and nuanced with a long signature finish. A delicious expression of balanced fruit and freshness with palate-pleasing notes of vanillin, spice and toasty oak. Versatile in all circumstances.
